Police Search Surgeon’s Home, Doctor Not There

For more than ten hours dozens of law enforcement agents went in and out of the area surrounding Dr. Timothy Jorden’s home on West Arnold Drive in Lakeview after a fatal shooting left 33 year old Jacqueline Wisniewski dead.

Erie County Air One helicopter hovered over the house for any signs of the suspect.

Just after 3 pm, National Grid cut off power to the home and while an armed officer guarded the road residents were turned away and so was Perry Smith.

Smith is the general contractor working on Jorden’s home, he came by to check on the property.

“In the construction business there are often problems and I never saw him get upset ever. So, that was my first reaction, it couldn’t possibly be him,” said Smith.

But Buffalo Police say 49 year old Jorden may be armed and dangerous.

“He’s the calmest easiest going, friendliest guy you can imagine. As a client I wished all of my clients were that way.”

Eyewitness news reporter Kendra Eaglin says to Smith,”You seem to be very, very upset about this.”

“Yea…..I’ve known him for six years I’ve done a lot of work for him. You get to know some after a while,” Smith continued.

“We’re just concerned citizens. We think that nobody should ever take someone’s life and we don’t think it’s right for this doctor to get away with this we think he should be punished to the full extent of the law,” Lazeuia Washington, a concerned resident.

A robot was sent in Jorden’s home to scour the property. Late this Wednesday evening, two ambulance trucks left the scene along with most other law enforcement officials and national grid came back to restore power after sources say the doctor was not found in the home.

Police say the hospital has been thoroughly searched and police are still checking possible locations where Dr. Jorden may have fled to. The doctor is considered armed and dangerous.
