{"id":203,"date":"2011-08-30T23:25:20","date_gmt":"2011-08-31T03:25:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/1001harf.com\/W3\/?p=203"},"modified":"2011-08-31T00:59:48","modified_gmt":"2011-08-31T04:59:48","slug":"iranian-web-users-rank-highest-for-visits-to-porn-sites","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/1001harf.com\/iranian-web-users-rank-highest-for-visits-to-porn-sites\/","title":{"rendered":"Iranian web users rank highest for visits to porn sites"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Highest number of visits to porn sites on Ashura Day !\u00a0 What is going on in the Islamic part of Republic?!<!--more--><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Authorities say Iranian internet users chalked up more visits to pornographic sites than people from any other country on Ashura Day, a Shiite day of mourning.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Fars news agency reports that Ebrahim Bayani, a senior official of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, told a meeting of IRGC commanders and administrators that the Revolutionary Guards Cyber Army has established that among internet users from 182 countries, Iranians made the highest number of visits to \u201cimmoral sites\u201d on Ashura Day.<\/p>\n<p>He added that these \u201calarming statistics\u201d and the use of satellites mean \u201cwe cannot expect the youth of the country to have any motivation to fast or go to mosque.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Iranian internet users are heavily restricted in their web access, barred from visiting several news sites and sites that the government deems \u201cimmoral.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, Iranian web users can overcome state restrictions with special software designed to break through filters.<\/p>\n<p>Iranian Prosecutor Ghilamhossein Mohseni Ejei heads a committee that decides which websites should be blocked by the Islamic Republic government.
