Man Shouting “Allahu Akbar” Tries To Grab Olympic Torch

A young man tried, rather unsuccessfully, to snatch the Olympic torch as it made its way through England this morning. The 17-year-old appears to have been waiting behind a car as torch bearer Anna Skora made her way down the road, leaping out to try and grab the lit torch away from her as she prepared to pass it on to fellow runner Graham White.
The teen had somehow managed to make his way through the police escorts running alongside Skora, but the runner was able to maintain her grasp on the torch. Reports say he shouted “Allahu Akbar” (“God is great”) after his attempt, eventually being led away by security.

Did the BBC edit the audio?

Below the fold, another angle in which he can be heard shouting. Quite clearly, in fact, even at what appears to be about the same distance away. Makes you wonder if the BBC video above was deliberately edited. I’ve turned the volume all the way up but still can’t hear his shout. I can hear other noises – whistling, chattering, cries, grunting and scuffling, but no “Allahu akbar.”
